The National Labor Relations Act, Section 7, protects a union's right to strike and picket about working terms and conditions. This action is protected by an Unfair Labor Practice charge against the employer that the union is confident has merit.
There will be designated picket captains for each store, please check in and out with them as you arrive and leave the picket, and please go to them immediately if there are any questions.
If anyone from the media approaches you, please direct them to a picket captain.
In the event you are approached by law enforcement or a hostile community member, refer them to the picket captain or de-escalation captain identified in safety vests.
