The following statement was adopted by the assembled membership on Thursday, June 1st 2023.

New Seasons Labor Union is honored and excited to have received an invitation to join the Coalition of Independent Unions! While the decision to join remains under consideration by our general membership, we would like to express our gratitude and interest as well as our commitment to support and act in allyship and solidarity with CIU. We believe that workers everywhere are stronger when we collaborate and use our voices collectively, and we look forward to seeing what we can achieve together!
